Welcome to your November newsletter.

It’s been a busy month, out and about making personal contact with you. We’ve been in Islington at a bustling Neighbourhood Night event in a local hall and in Waltham Forest on your doorsteps, listening to you about the things that matter most.

We’ve also been busy preparing the Residents' Annual Report which we’ve sent in the post to you and is also available online. A printed newsletter will arrive just before Christmas with a chance to win gift vouchers. Something to watch out for!

From yours to ours. We’re inviting you to our festive party on Thursday, 12 December. We hope to see you there for an informal celebration regardless of your faith or beliefs. Please remember to RSVP.

Talking of Christmas, an early reminder that we'll be closed over the festive period, but you can still contact our out-of-hours team in an emergency. Our office re-opens on Thursday, 2 January 2025.

Winter warm guide

Last year, we published a guide to help keep you safe and warm in your home through winter.

Inside, we busted some myths about heating and energy, discussed why flushable toilet wipes often shouldn't go down the toilet and signposted where you can go for help and support.

Christmas social

Don't forget to pay your rent in December

The easiest way to pay rent or service charges is by Direct Debit, but you can also pay online or in other ways. Rent and service charges are due in advance. If you have difficulty making a payment or have questions, email IncomeTeam@isha.co.uk, and the team can help you.

Slashing the costs of vampire devices

Are you aware of the vampire devices in your home? That's the name of those devices that can drain energy and cost you money even when not in use.

In this article, we share tips for reducing electrical costs over winter and link to Confused.com's list of the biggest culprits and how much they could cost you.

Free E.ON PowerDown plug

We have some free energy-saving plugs available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The E.On PowerDown plug automatically cuts off consumption for devices left on standby – saving you money on electricity bills.

If you'd like a plug, pop by our office to collect one from reception.

Our office will close on Tuesday, 24 December until 9am on Thursday, 2 January 2005.

We'll also be closed for a staff event in the afternoon of Friday, 6 December.
