August 2025
Dear
Welcome to your August newsletter.
We've a packed issue this month, covering two main themes: Resident involvement and resident safety.
Neighbourhood Nights are returning from September. If you've not been to one before, they're a
brilliant way to speak with our staff and contractors about what matters most to you. There's also free hot food and activities to keep children entertained.
We've had great feedback from residents who have attended in the past, so why not pop in and see us? We've been out and about to see you,
knocking on doors as part of our Neighbourhood Knock project.
And here’s a chance to get your voice heard: the Government is looking for new members to be part of a residents' panel.
We've extended the deadlines for our artistic competition and registering for the 'My Home' portal. If you haven't entered the competition or registered for the portal, what are you waiting for? You could win prizes!
Summer may be coming to an end soon, let’s hope for some more warm weather to
enjoy for a few weeks yet. If you are lucky enough to have access to a balcony, please remember to use it safely. Don't store items on it that could pose a fire risk, and always supervise young children at all times.
As always, if you need to speak with us, you can find contact details for each team on our website.
Best wishes
Thea McNaught-Reynolds
Director of Culture, Communications and
Involvement
