May 2025
Dear
Welcome to your May newsletter.
We’re excited to announce we've recruited a new Chief Executive. Pippa Fleetwood-Read joins us in October, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge. She has
sent a message for you, and there is more information about Pippa on our website.
Our Neighbourhood Nights have been terrific! Only this week, we met around 30 of you at our Hackney event, while last month, despite a problem with the venue resulting in a last-minute move to another, many of you still came to our event at Islington.
With each event, we’re learning more about how we can improve them, and we’ve been pleased to be able to invite our local fire teams and police along to help you with fire safety and anti-social behaviour (ASB) concerns. Check our website regularly, as that's where we’ll update you on the events themselves as well
as the actions we’ve taken as a result.
During the summer months, we'll be visiting selected estates in Hackney and Islington as part of the Neighbourhood Knock and look forward to speaking with as many of you as possible. When we’re coming your way, we’ll send you a letter with the dates and
times.
Building our partnerships for the benefit of your community, we’re pleased to be part of Barclays 'Career Discovery Day' to help you improve your personal brand, brush up on interview skills and more.
As always, if you need to speak with us, you can find contact
details for each team on our website.
With the last of the bank holidays until August upon us, staff here will be taking a well-deserved break this Monday. If you’ve an emergency, don’t worry, the usual
out-of-hours call arrangements will be in place.
Best wishes
Thea
